This site is maintained by the Parish Council to provide a service to the whole community.

We want to include news of other village activities and societies. In particular we can include details of contacts names, (addresses, phone numbers and emails) of all officers and notice of meetings. The success of this website is very dependent on everyone participating. The more news we receive the more interesting it will be for everyone. All village events can be advertised under "Forthcoming Events" in the left hand column. The Parish Council is also happy to circulate an email a week or two before an event so that it can be seen by people who don't live in the village and, if so requested, the press.

Refuse Collection during the bad weather

Due to the bad weather Derbyshire Dales District Council will not be able to collect normal refuse where it was missed last week until Friday 8th January. However they will collect any additional refuse which is placed in black bags next to the wheelie bin at that time.
