Father Christmas in his Grotto

All the fun of the Christmas Fair took place at Stoney Middleton School at the weekend.

Father Christmas was in his grotto handing out some festive cheer and villagers had the chance to grab plenty of Christmas bargains.

There were plenty of stalls for visitors to indulge some retail therapy such as cakes, bric-a-brac, toys, decorations, sweets and books.

Cressbrook band entertained the visitors with carol singing.

As part of the festive season Stoney Middleton School will deliver your Christmas cards to friends in the village.

There is no charge for this service but if you would like to make a donation to school funds it would be gratefully received.

If you get cards to the school by Thursday December 14 they will promise to deliver them by Monday December 18.
