Last week Fever Media invited Stoney Middleton School to take part in their new cash giveaway ITV 1 programme. Although we only had a very short time to prepare a one minute presentation to ask for money, we managed to get to the first audition.

Felicity, Francesca, Mum Daphne and Lyn went on a train from Grindleford to Manchester on Saturday afternoon. We did not have long to wait at the hotel conference suite before we were ushered into a studio. The girls did an absolutely brilliant job of their one minute talk to camera about how much they loved their school and please could we have money so Mums and Dads can keep the school open.

We were asked questions about our school and we had lots of photographs to show them about the school and the children's activities. Afterwards we had a drink and biscuits before catching the train home. We were all tired by the time we got home but we'd had a fun time and thoroughly enjoyed our adventure.

Fever Media seemed interested in our Save Stoney School Campaign so now we have to wait and see if we have got to the next stage. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

Thank you Francesca and Felicity - you did a fantastic job.
