The Children's Well - David and Goliath as seen on Television

This year all three wells are based on a bible story.

The Main Well is from Isaiah Ch 11 v 6 and 7

11:6. The wolf shall dwell with the lamb: and the leopard shall lie down with the kid: the calf and the lion, and the sheep shall abide together, and a little child shall lead them.

11:7. The calf and the bear shall feed: their young ones shall rest together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

The theme of the Bath Well is taken from the New Testament - Matthew Ch 4 v 19

"Jesus said to them,'Follow me and I shall make you fishers of men'".

The Children's Well designed by the Stoney Middleton Primary School has continued the theme of the Thanksgiving Service for saving the school and illustrates the story of David and Goliath.
