Congratulations to the overall winner of the Stoney Middleton Fell Race Stuart Bond of Tommy's Fell Stars in 31 minutes 51 seconds.

Congratulations also to the leading lady, Jane Sutton, who completed the course in 43minutes 22 seconds

In total 111 runners completed the course which started with the usual gruelling climb up Stoney Middleton High Street on Thursday 31 July 2008.

The race was followed by a presentation to the Category winners at the Moon Inn and a barbecue.
